Machine Operators/Tractor Drivers

MACHINE OPERATORS & TRACTOR DRIVERS

We require versatile, experienced Machine Operators and Tractor Drivers to keep Fairfield growing.

The Work

As part of the orchard team, you'll operate tractors and implements for mowing, mulching, and harvest support across our apple and kiwifruit blocks. You'll maintain equipment, carry out pre-start checks, and support our spray teams and harvest operations.

During quieter seasonal periods, you'll use your range of skills on general labouring, development and wire-work, structure maintenance, and general orchard work. The variety means you're never doing the same thing all year — and you'll keep learning.

Skills & Progression

We need people with Growsafe certificates to work as spray applicators. Don't have it yet? We can help you get it.

If you want to upskill and progress within the industry, we can help with that too — whether it's moving into equipment maintenance or mentoring newer team members.
